The Key to Success is to Be in the Right Business

the key to success is being in good businessesIn my last article I mentioned 9 Success Theories.

But I sneakily left out what I believe is the single most important factor.

In this follow-up article, I will deal with this 10th theory.

Then there are more nuanced answers. Depending on what line of work you’re in and what you want to do, those answers may differ.Continue Reading…

SGM 2020 Plans

Happy New Year to you!

First let me address the Updated version of Breaking out of Homeostasis. I’m working on it as we speak, but it’s taking longer than I thought. It should be done around the end of March-April. Regardless, the wait will be worth it.

I have been inactive on SGM for the last year, which saddens me.

For 2020, I will redesign the website, finish interesting articles I have in mind, and some more stuff that you will see.

In fact, I have a ton of ideas. But before I get into that, I want your opinion:Continue Reading…

Now, I’m not so sure.

Is it possible to put on weight, gain muscle, and stay in shape without adhering to long conventional workout routines? This has been the case for me the past 6 months.

Let me give you the rundown.Continue Reading…

Nothing New Under the Sun: 8 Historic Patterns

I have written about history on multiple occasions in the past, and now it’s time again.

Studying history is important because it gives you a broad understanding of human nature under different circumstances. And it also allows you to predict with higher certainty when people or countries are succumbing to certain historical patterns. When this happens, there is not much you can do to counteract it — a wiser decision may be to simply extract yourself from the situation and strive to avoid the folly of your peers, statesmen or countrymen.Continue Reading…

Now Finished: The Future Skills Program

Hi friends,

I’m excited to tell you that we’ve now completed the Future Skills Program and will do our first (scaled-up) run of the program, starting on Sunday 14th.

The past couple of days I’ve been sending lots of emails and communicating with applicants and the people scheduled for our first run. In doing this, I’ve received some recurring questions which I will now do my best to answer.

What is the Future Skills Program?Continue Reading…
